Online Shop Policies
- Please review our policies before placing your order. We reserve the right to update and change these policies at any time.
- We take all major credit cards. If you choose not to enter your card number, you can call the shop to place your order 804-594-5849.
- All orders are shipped through the United States Postal Service. We ship Tuesday-Saturday (brick & mortar shop is closed Sundays & Mondays). Our flat-rate shipping cost is $9.
- We are happy to accept returns for store credit only within 30-60 days (please see specifics/exceptions below). Return shipping is not covered by Dances With Wool unless the order was packaged incorrectly. We are not responsible for a return order that does not reach our shop or was damaged in shipping. Store credit will be issued when the items are received. PLEASE EMAIL THE SHOP TO ALERT US OF THE RETURN: shop@danceswithwoolrva.com. - All refunds will be issued in the form of store credit only. Unwound yarn may be returned within 60 days of purchase provided it is in new, odor-free, resaleable condition (ie, not wound, original ball band/tag still attached). Needles/notions may be returned within 30 days of purchase provided they are in original packaging in clean, resaleable condition.
- The following items are not eligible for return: books, trunk show purchases, consignment items, sale or Last Chance items, special orders, wool washes, Ashford products.
- Any item found to have a manufacturer defect that has been purchased from Dances will be replaced in kind.
- We do not share the information you enter on our website with third parties.
In Person Class Policies
- Our classes are designed for adult learners. Children, ages 8 & up, need to sign up for a private lesson.
- A minimum of three students is required to hold a class. If the class does not get a minimum number of students, we will refund your class payment. (Individual instructors may decide to proceed with fewer than three students at their discretion.)
- If you find you must cancel your class registration, we can provide a refund back to the original form of payment with at least 72 hours notices. If you must cancel within 72 hours of the scheduled class, a store credit will be offered for a future class or product.
- There are no refunds or store credits for missed attendance. However, we will do our best to accommodate you if there is an unforeseen circumstance such as illness. Students often convert their missed session to a private lesson; these private lessons are charged at our standard $40/hour fee.
- If a class is canceled by the instructor, a refund will be issued. If inclement weather or reasons beyond the shop's control affect a particular class session, the class will be rescheduled.
