Learn how this app will transform the way you knit!

Learn how to store all of your PDF patterns in one location for quick and easy access. 

Learn how the app links to your Ravelry account, allows you to enter your own project notes, tracks row counts and repeats, and so much more. 

You’ll never again have to search for that missing post-it note with all of your important notations. You will knit faster, make fewer mistakes, and tackle more techniques with this app.

In this online class you will learn why, “if you knit, you need knitCompanion”!

Skills you will learn:

• Overview of the knitCompanion app

• Learn the basic functions of the app including:

> link to Ravelry and Dropbox

> importing a pdf pattern

> rotate pattern pages

> project notes

> project timer

> quick key

> add highlights

> on page notes (pop-up, text)

> customize appearance of pages

Materials for class:

• Devices with internet connection (ipad, tablet, phone, laptop, desktop, etc)

• Most current version knitCompanion app already loaded on chosen device

• Preferable to join Zoom class from a device OTHER THAN the one on which knitCompanion is loaded so that you are able to view class instruction on one and have ability to work within the knitCompanion app on the other. .

• Access to Ravelry set up prior to class in order to take part in loading a pattern from Ravelry into knitCompanion

NOTE: For this class, you must have a minimum of kCBasics loaded. We will also touch on some elements included in Essentials.
