Fall Quarter Sessions:

Oct 6 & 13 6:00-7:30 PM

This class will consist of two, 1.5 hour sessions held over two consecutive weeks. Please be sure you can attend all sessions before registering.

During these two sessions, you will learn some basic crochet concepts: Holding the hook and yarn, tensioning, and 5 stitch types. If you've always wanted to learn crochet this is the class for you! At the completion of this class and homework assignments, you will have the skills required for Crochet 102 classes or to start your own project! 

Skills you will learn:

• Holding Hook and Yarn

• Tensioning Yarn

• Slip knot

• Stitches including: chain, Single crochet, half-double crochet, Double crochet, and triple crochet.

Materials to bring to first class:

• Size I or 5.5mm crochet hook 

• 100 grams or one skein of worsted weight yarn in a light color so that your stitches are more visible.
